Thanks Steve, really appreciate your blog. A request, the original Mi Pretty Mi Lou Lou by Derrick Morgan. I have the remake but I think the original was on Beverleys. Nuff respect.
Thanks again Steve - do you know where I can get the 2nd Rio Vente volume ?
yumyum very very nice compilation
many thanks for sharing
Excellent collection!!
Thank you so much
i love this site. sidewalk doctor is becoming one of the better labels, right? i dont understand occasional allusions, such as the rio 45 vol 2 an outsider compiled. maybe i am not supposed to get it. but of course i'd love to. thqnks for the always interesting offerings.
also: i would love to hear in any anecdotes or information describing how you came across your collection, ie, their availability, prices, the "scene", etc. i dont know really, but it seems to me that there is a paucity of basic reliable information about the original dissemination of this music. its my impression that there werent many fans such as yourselves at the get-go of the whole affair. your informal reminisces, such as they are, would be a nice bonus to this already generous site. i think i speak for some others out there. right everyone?
take care. a.p.t.
